Hi.
I'm Allison.
I am a musician, a lover of Jesus, a photographer. Not particularly in that order.
Once upon a time I went on an 11 month missions trip called The World Race. In month 9, I traveled to Phuket, Thailand where God turned my life upside down. I met women who felt trapped in a place that saw them only as objects to be sold. I cried with a woman who wished she could be with her son, but instead felt bound by obligation to provide for her family in the bars. I walked the same street over and over and whispered prayers that I'm still waiting to see the fruit of.
I soon realized that God was calling me to be in Thailand permanently and be part of bringing life and hope to those trapped in the sex industry of Phuket.
I packed up my life and followed Jesus to Thailand in February of 2016, and I am currently in Bangkok learning to speak, read and write Thai so that I can be an effective minister of reconciliation in the red-light district.
This is my story,
and I hope you'll come along for the ride.
